Two weeks to go

I'm sure you all know that I've only got two weeks left before I board a flight to Buenos Aires. The idea is that as I travel around, I'll collect my experiences, thoughts and encounters, and share them on this blog for anyone to see. Or...that's the idea anyway. Who knows what will happen when I get to Tierra del Fuego and find that the nearest internet café is two hundred miles north! I've been reading "Voyage of the Beagele" recently, and have been amazed and sometimes shocked by what Darwin found in the wilds of South America. No, I won't be fearing the attacks of Fuegian Indians or recounting stories of natives who wrap sliced dogs around broken limbs. No, my trip should be far more exciting than that.
